The place deserved 4 stars. The staff were amicable and polite all the time. The room was spotlessly clean with a private bathroom as described. A microwave, coffee/tea makers, and a refrigerator were provided.
My bed was a bit hard, unfortunately.

Our stay at Penzion Vilo was exceptional. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and guiding us to the shortest route to the city center. Despite the small size, our room had everything we needed and it was warm, which was perfect for our December visit. The location was also ideal, with the Slavín monument nearby and just a short walk to the center. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Bratislava.

Convenient location, close to both the city center and a nice hill for exploring. 🏞️ Private bathrooms in the units were a big plus and everything else about the stay was great.
